MENDOCINO CO., 10/26/25 – An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5 struck Northern California on Sunday in Humboldt County, just north of the Mendocino County line.
The quake was recorded at 2:06 p.m. at a depth of 4.5 kilometers, which is about 2.8 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter was about 11 miles southeast of Redway, an unincorporated area of Humboldt County.
Spokespersons for the Mendocino Fire Protection District and the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office said no reports of damage or other impacts had been made as of about 2:45 p.m.
