MENDOCINO CO., 10/18/25 – The big top returns to Mendocino County on Thursday when Flynn Creek Circus presents its new show, The Bridge,” in Boonville.

Inspired by Nordic legends and wolves, the family-friendly production is narrated by a goat and his shadow, who guide audiences through the story of a troll, emperor and countess as they journey into the realm of the wolf.

As with past Flynn Creek Circus performances, the show blends humor, artistry and acrobatics with the company’s signature rural charm.

Founded in 2002, Flynn Creek Circus performs exclusively in rural communities across the Pacific Northwest. The troupe features professional artists from Ukraine, Canada and the United States, all scouted by circus co-owners Blaze Birge — who also serves as artistic director — and David Jones. The pair perform in the show and travel internationally to recruit talent at festivals and competitions.

For those seeking a different experience, the circus will also host an adults-only version of “The Bridge,” featuring mature comedy, bold performances and a lively party atmosphere.

Pre-show entertainment begins 30 minutes before each performance. Beer, wine and light concessions will be available for purchase. The full show runs two hours, including a 15-minute intermission.

The Bridge runs Oct. 23–26 at Anderson Valley Brewing Company, 17700 Boonville Road, Boonville. Tickets start at $23 and are available at https://www.flynncreekcircus.com/.
