UKIAH, CA., 8/14/25 — For 1980s music lovers, the closing show of Ukiah’s well-loved Sundays in the Park free concert series is sure to shake some tailfeathers.
This Sunday, the final concert of this year’s series will be headlined by Tainted Love, a Bay Area ‘80s cover band that plays everything from energetic dance beats to classic rock anthems.
The Sundays in the Park summer concert series has been one of Ukiah’s most popular traditions since it first started in 1982. This summer, six events were organized to attract a diverse range of music-loving concertgoers, featuring bands like Los Silverbacks, a Latin and African rhythms band, and Big Daddy Voodoo, a contemporary swing revival band.
Tainted Love, which has been performing for two decades throughout California and nationally, is known for its high-energy shows and passionate renditions of acclaimed pop songs.
Tainted Love will perform Sunday at 6 p.m. at Todd Grove Park, 600 Live Oak Ave. in Ukiah. Admission is free, and local vendors will sell food and drinks. Attendees are asked not to bring pets to the event. For more information, call (707) 463-6231.
