Temperatures will be in the 90s and 100s inland

Ukiah, Talmage, Covelo and Round Valley will see temperatures in the low 100s.

Talmage can expect to hit 104 degrees on Saturday. Temperatures will stay in the low 100s through Monday.

Potter and Redwood valleys will also hit the low 100s.

Temperatures will be in the 90s in Hopland, Anderson Valley, Willits, Leggett and Laytonville.

The coast will see mostly sunny conditions in the 60s

Hot weather inland means many residents will likely escape to the coast to cool off.

Gualala will see temperatures in the high 50s. Further up the road, Point Arena, Mendocino and Fort Bragg can expect temperatures in the mid-60s.

Risk of heat-related illnesses will increase this weekend

With hot temperatures comes a higher risk of heat-related illnesses. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors,” the weather service said. “Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.”
