UKIAH, CA., 3/4/25 — This week’s Featured Pet is Eve, a ten-month-old Doberman mix available for adoption at the Ukiah Animal Shelter.

Eve is a very inquisitive young dog. Although she can be a bit shy, she is very sweet and does well with people. More exposure to new and different places, people, experiences, pets, and surroundings will be a great way for her to gain confidence. Eve will need gentle and consistent training with lots and lots of TLC to help her mature into a well loved member of her new pack. This girl is eager to learn and be your BFF. And did we mention she is ADORABLE??!
Eve is a Doberman mix, 10 months old and 45 pounds. Dobies are wonderful and goofy dogs. Often referred to as Velcro Dogs, they love being around their people, and they will entertain you with their quiet, but very funny antics. Unlike their appearances in movies and TV shows, Dobies need to be indoor pets. As Dobie-lovers like to say, if you live with a Doberman, you will never have to go to the loo alone again!
