MENDOCINO CO., 7/30/24 – Fire crews continue to battle the Riley Fire near Camp Noyo on Tuesday morning.  

According to Cal Fire’s morning report, the Riley Fire was first reported at 16790 Riley Ridge Rd. on Saturday morning at 10:47 a.m. It is burning between Fort Bragg and Willits on the border of Jackson State Demonstration Forest just south of Camp Noyo.  

Cal Fire reports that the fire is 60 percent contained at 17.5 acres. Forty-three fire personnel are working the fire. No structures have been damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
