UKIAH, 7/3/24 – This week’s featured pet is PepperJack, available for adoption at the Ukiah Animal Shelter. Pepperjack is an 18-month-old male mix.

Here’s his profile from the Ukiah Animal Shelter:

PepperJack has a very sweet side, but right now he’s a bit nervous, having found himself at the shelter in an unknown environment. As PJ acclimates to the shelter, we bet he will become more confident and outgoing. And once he’s in his new forever home, we think he will make more progress in that direction. PepperJack  appears uncomfortable around other dogs and may prefer being the only canine in his new home. We look forward to watching this affectionate but shy dog become more confident and relaxed. PepperJack is 1.5 years old and 65 pounds. He’s neutered and ready to head out the shelter’s doors with you ASAP!

You can read more about PepperJack here and other adoptable pets at mendoanimalshelter.com. If you see a dog or cat that you think might be “the one,” you can begin the adoption process online.
