FORT BRAGG, CA., 7/25/24 – Election season is in full swing, and Fort Bragg residents of voting age are encouraged to run for the Fort Bragg City Council. The council’s work impacts the daily lives of Fort Bragg residents, and its decisions can affect generations to come. The city is looking to elect two new members to the council for four-year terms. Candidates must file by August 9 to appear on the November 5 ballot.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Fort Bragg will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the following officers: Two (2) members of the City Council for full terms of four years.
The nomination period for these offices begins on July 15, 2024 and closes on August 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. If an incumbent does not file nomination papers by the close of the nomination period, the nomination period extends to August 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The extension does not apply when there is no incumbent eligible to be elected.
