Mendocino Co. 12/2/2016 — It’s a quiet day for road conditions in Mendocino County, with some ongoing work, and few upcoming projects for the next week. Work on Highway 1 in Fort Bragg is scheduled to be done in time for the weekend.
One of two lanes on Highway 101 at CalFire in Leggett is still closed. Emergency work was expected to be done by November 30, but the new date is January 31, 2017.
One of five lanes is closed on Highway 1, northbound through Fort Bragg, from Maple Ave to Oak Street. Utility work is expected to be done at 3:01 today, December 2.
A silver Mazda rolled off of Highway 101, mile marker 58 last night. No injuries were reported, and as of 8:12am today, CHP had called for a lane closure so the vehicle could be removed. No injuries were reported in the accident.
There is still a lane closure on Highway 101 from 1.5 miles north of Comminsky Station Road to north of Frog Woman Rock for miscellaneous work expected to be done December 31. One of two lanes is closed.

Route 1 (20.8) – Bridge deck repairs at the Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C1SA
Route 1 (61.1/61.3) AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility repairs from Maple Avenue to Oak Street. A shoulder closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#P1AA
Route 20 (33.2/39.2) – Pavement repairs from the North Calpella Overcrossing to Cold Creek Bridge #3 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect overnight from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 20-minute delays. LC#C20QA
Route 101 (4.5/5.0) – Routine maintenance near Frog Woman Rock will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 25 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101GA
Route 101 (5.0) – Bridge deck repairs at the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge will continue. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in both directions from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101LC
Route 101 (10.9) AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility repairs near the Feliz Creek Bridge on Friday, December 2. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P101JA
Route 101 (11.7/13.2) – Caltrans will perform routine maintenance from Hewlitt and Sturtevant Road to the Hopland CAL FIRE station beginning Wednesday, December 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#S101GA
Route 101 (41.2/44.0) – Bridge rail upgrades at the South Willits Overhead will continue. Northbound traffic will be restricted to one lane 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101RC
Route 101 (93.5) – Emergency slide repairs just south of Standish-Hickey State Park will continue. One-way traffic control with a temporary signal will be in effect 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C101GC
