MENDOCINO CO., 9/8/25 – Hop heads and beer lovers won’t want to miss a chance to learn how their favorite beer goes from grain to glass at the Kelley House Museum in Mendocino on Saturday.
Foggy Coast Brewers, a local home brewing club, will demonstrate the beermaking process, sharing tips and techniques on preparing homebrews.
Visitors can also sample homebrews from Foggy Coast and beers from North Coast Brewing Company.
The event coincides with the museum’s current exhibit, “On Tap: The History of Brewing on the Mendocino Coast.”
The exhibit takes visitors on a journey starting with the German immigrants that introduced the craft of beermaking to the region in the 1860s and ending with the contemporary breweries that have made the coast a must-visit for beer drinkers around the world.
Demonstrations and tastings take place between 12 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Kelley House Museum, 45007 Albion St., Mendocino. Tickets are $20 for Kelley House Museum members and $25 for non-members.
