UKIAH, CA., 8/1/25 – Mendocino County Superior Court has a new online tool for accessing court records, the court said Friday.
In addition to accessing court records, the new system, called re:Search CA, allows members of the public to also build dashboards for specific cases, create custom court calendars, set up reminders for upcoming hearings and receive alerts when new documents are filed related to cases.
Attorneys and parties can also access confidential documents via the new tool.

According to the court, all county court case records are now digitized. However, not all will be available remotely, the court said. Most civil cases will be available, while others made confidential by the courts will remain inaccessible based on California law.
In addition to being available via one’s personal computer or phone, both Ukiah and Fort Bragg courthouses have kiosks allowing people to access public and confidential case information.
Users must register to use re:Search CA, which can be found at https://researchca.tylerhost.net/CourtRecordsSearch/Home#!/home. Click the “Register” link in the upper right corner or register for a free account. The court has also created a tutorial on YouTube here.
