FORT BRAGG, CA., 6/29/25 –– A week-long search for a man who allegedly broke into a Fort Bragg house and sexually assaulted the resident has ended with the arrest of 23-year-old Cayden Paul Craig, the Fort Bragg Police Department said.

According to the police, officers served two search warrants in the 100 block of S. McPherson Street in Fort Bragg in connection to the sexual assault that happened on June 21.

Several individuals were at the McPherson Street property when officers arrived, including Craig. Officers served the warrant and while searching the house for items they allege were linked to the sexual assault, they discovered other items that may be associated with at least one unsolved burglary, police said.
