MENDOCINO CO., 10/15/24 – An earthquake with a magnitude 2.9 struck in Lake County on Tuesday afternoon according to the United States Geological Survey.  

The tremblor struck at 2:18 p.m. Its epicenter was 6.8 miles north of Lake Pillsbury, just south of the Mendocino County line, the survey said.  

There were no power outages reported, according to PG&E.
