MENDOCINO Co., 4/26/2017 — The 101 north of Leggett is closed again, due to another large and very active slide in the same location.

Bell Springs Road is also closed again. The Mendocino County Dept. of Transportation directs motorists to the April 20 statement from the county’s executive office. Usal Road is also not a viable detour.

As of around 7:00am, there is an unspecified traffic hazard in the westbound lane of Highway 20, near the Lake County line. The CHP reports that a driver is out of the vehicle.

Work continues on Route 162 near The Middle Way. There is still one-way traffic on Route 175, at the entrance to Motorcycle Park and near Buckhorn Drive.

In Ukiah, there is a 40% chance of rain. The forecast is mostly cloudy, with a high around 66, dropping to 49 tonight. A calm wind will turn west northwest this afternoon, and blow 5 to 8 miles per hour.
