MENDOCINO Co., 10/16/19 — Whether you love wine, pumpkins, or cannabis, (or all three) it’s harvest time in Mendocino, which means many of our county’s residents are putting in long days as the sunlight gets shorter to bring in their crops before rains and freezes kick in. To celebrate harvest time, there’s a two-day musical event and benefit happening at the Solar Living Institute this October 26 and 27.

The event will feature 17 different bands, dancing, a “taste the harvest competition” with delicious food from local farmers, plus local beer and wine, a kids zone, face painting, harvest ceremonies, and more. Tickets can be bought individually or for the whole weekend, and you can win cash prizes by wearing a costume! The event takes place at the Solar Living Institute, and portions of the proceeds will benefit the Hopland Volunteer Fire Department and the Solar Living Institute.
