MENDOCINO CO., 2/3/26 – PG&E is accepting applications for a new round of scholarships for college-bound high school seniors, current college students, and continuing education students from Mendocino County.

More than $300,000 in scholarship funding is available through programs created and funded by PG&E employee resource groups and engineering network groups. Awards range from $1,000 to $6,000 and are granted annually based on academic achievement and community leadership.

The scholarships are funded entirely through employee donations, fundraising efforts, and PG&E’s coworker giving program. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 28.

Eligible students must live in PG&E’s Northern and Central California’s service areas to be eligible.

PG&E officials said the scholarships are intended to help reduce financial barriers for students pursuing higher education, particularly those giving back to their communities. Since 1989, PG&E’s employee-led groups have awarded more than $6 million in scholarships to thousands of students.
