
UPDATE, 2/19/26, 1:15 p.m. – Power has been restored to over 1,300 customers impacted by the outage.
MENDOCINO CO., 2/19/26 – A PG&E power outage is impacting approximately 1,405 customers in northeastern Mendocino County, including parts of Round Valley, Covelo, Dos Rios and Laytonville, according to the utility’s live outage map.
PG&E reported the outage shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday. The utility said the outage is unplanned and that crews responding to the area found a power line on the ground. Repairs are underway.
As of late Thursday morning, PG&E had not provided an estimated restoration time, noting that crews are currently responding to storm-related emergencies and will provide updates when more information becomes available.
The outage comes as a winter storm system continues to impact Northern California, bringing heavy rain, gusty winds and hazardous travel conditions.
No specific time for restoration was available as of Thursday morning.
