WILLITS, CA., 1/20/26 – A free mobile shower service is now available every Monday and Tuesday at St. Francis in the Redwoods Episcopal Church in Willits.
According to the church, the mobile unit includes two private, heated shower rooms, each equipped with a toilet and small sink. Toiletries, towels and washcloths are provided.
One of the units is accessible via a ramp, though a wheelchair does not fit inside the shower room, the church said. Individuals who use wheelchairs are encouraged to bring a helper for assistance.
Anyone without access to a shower is welcome to use the service. Participants are also invited to join the community for a free sack dinner from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., provided by Willits Daily Bread.
The program is operated by the Ukiah Redwood Gospel Mission in partnership with St. Francis in the Redwoods Episcopal Church and the Willits Shelter Action Group.
The mobile shower is available from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the parking lot behind St. Francis in the Redwoods Episcopal Church at 66 E. Commercial St., Willits. For more information, call (707) 272-0177.
