MENDOCINO CO., 12/25/25 – A PG&E power outage is impacting more than 5,600 customers across Mendocino County, according to the utility’s live outage map.

Impacted areas include Fort Bragg, Caspar, Mendocino, Comptche, Albion, Elk, Navarro, Philo, Manchester, Point Arena, Gualala, Yorkville, Boonville and parts of Branscomb. A large portion of The Sea Ranch is also without power.

The largest outages include more than 850 customers in the southwest part of the county, including Point Arena; more than 600 in Albion; more than 800 in Mendocino; and more than 1,000 in Anderson Valley.

Many customers have been without power since early Wednesday morning, while others woke up to outages on Christmas Day.

PG&E cited weather-related issues as the cause, as high winds and heavy rain have battered California over the past two days. Hundreds of thousands of PG&E customers statewide were without power on Christmas.

As of Thursday morning, PG&E said crews were working to restore power in some areas, though restoration times vary by location. PG&E customers can register for alerts and monitor outages and restoration times at https://pgealerts.alerts.pge.com/outage-tools/outage-map/ or call 1 (800) 743-5002.

Power outages may last for hours or days. Safety tips on generator use, food storage and medical care during outages are available at https://www.ready.gov/power-outages.
