POINT ARENA, CA., 12/4/25 – Point Arena’s annual Hometown Holidays will take place Saturday. 

Organized by the Point Arena Merchants Association, the festive event invites the community to shop, stroll and enjoy downtown Point Arena while celebrating the holidays. 

Shops, cafes and restaurants along Main Street, or California State Highway 1, will offer special sales and discounts, live music and complimentary seasonal treats. 

The Coast Community Library will host a fundraiser book sale and holiday-themed activities, including card making and gingerbread house making. Santa Claus will also stop by for a meet-and-greet. 

The Arena Theater will show “The Grinch.” 

The association is also hosting a holiday arts and crafts market with local vendors offering an eclectic mix of handcrafted items. 

The evening wraps up with a tree-lighting ceremony featuring caroling and Santa.
