MENDOCINO CO., 11/28/25 – A winter coat drive for families in the Laytonville area of unincorporated Mendocino County kicked off last week, organizers said.

Donations of new or gently used winter coats in all sizes are needed.

The coats will be distributed to families served by Laytonville Healthy Start, a family resource center that supports an estimated 1,000 people in rural northern Mendocino County each year.

Donations can be dropped off at Pour Girls Coffee, 44950 U.S. Highway 101 in Laytonville, now through Dec. 8.
