MENDOCINO CO., 10/16/25 — “No Kings” protests are planned Saturday in locations across Mendocino County.

  1. No shit…King’s rule on the other side of the planet, not in the US. Go protest in the UK! Go back to school and pay attention this time. You all look like fools, and it’s not April yet.

    1. Wow so much to unpack here… Umm agree to disagree there sport. If you can’t support peaceful protest in the US sir, then maybe it is you that needs to go protest somewhere else. This protest brings strength to we the people to remind the whole world that there are no kings or tyrants or dictators ever to be welcomed in the leadership of the US. It’s led by the free people of the US. Us. You’re welcome to join.

    2. Free speech is vital to democracy. Only fascists would oppose open expression. Our nation was founded on it. MAGA are the party of bigotry and violence.

    3. If you don’t like what the people are doing here, you can protest too. It’s a constitutional right. Peaceful protest. Think about it.

    4. YOU need to “go back to school and pay attention this time.” Peaceful protests are protected under the 1st amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Also in the Constitution is the right to Habeas Corpus. Immigrants DO have rights! ANYONE in the United States, whether legally or illegally, is entitled to due process under the law. Deportations without respect to this right are ILLEGAL, Trump should be prosecuted as well as impeached for that alone. He’s NOT A KING and needs to abide by the laws of this country!

  2. Uuummm facist nazi dictators dont free Jewish hostages from a regime of facist dictators….just my opinion

    1. So he did one good thing. That isn’t enough to go to our states and blatantly harass people…

    2. Yes in a broken clock is right twice a day so what he did something politically expedient for him

  3. I agree with Travis. A good thing happened this week. I cried when saw hostages released to families. Also the illegals, that are being deported are, really bad criminals. There are reasons to be disappointed….but it’s mostly the economy, that is hurting people. Illegals being deported are some pretty bad persons. Fraud is being exposed for the countries benefit. There is no acknowledgement of any good things. Be nice, if people tried to celebrate the peace & less war for a change. The repetition of No Kings seems flat & tired.

    1. blame c Kirk killing on non existent left wing groups, close themdown forever as they help regular people sound just like your boy Adolph and the reishstag incident that put him in power you must’ve completely blind and hope he comes after you just like in Germany since he’s your boy!!

    2. I suspect most of the immigrants who are being deported are NOT “really bad criminals” but how does anyone know, since they are never given a chance to defend themselves. Immigrants DO have rights! ANYONE in the United States, whether legally or illegally, is entitled to due process under the law. This is in the U.S. Constitution. Look up “Habeas Corpus.”

    3. Quetzalita: Footnote to your seeping generalization defending illegal immigrants in the United States. Federal immigration law and court precedents make clear that aliens do not have full access to all of the constitutional rights afforded to citizens. Further, you fail to differentiate between criminal prosecutions and immigration proceedings, which are civil matters. Specifically, aliens have only limited due process rights in immigration proceedings. That is a more precise statement. Try not to obfuscate. Um’Kay?

  4. Lots of slogan signs and heartfelt feelings. Honk your horn as you drive by in a show of support. Yep. Gonna change the government. Big changes coming. Just wait and see. Don’t forget, we throw tea in the harbor on Monday morning!
What’s that? I’m a couple hundred years too late?
    Well dang.

    1. Well anyway, somebody bring a Mexican Flag. (Trump hates that) Maybe an Old Glory flag too, so we can burn it. Trump is the King. Let’s just say it.
Oh, by the way, there is no cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome except if he secures peace in the Middle East, ha, ha. Never happen, er, wait, whats that you say? Trump did what?

    2. Your question: “Why weren’t members of Congress and staff who served on the Jan. 6 committee, plus the police officers who testified before that committee all pardoned by President Biden? Answer: Because they did NOTHING ILLEGAL. The Trumpers who stormed the Capitol, attacked and killed police and did a lot of damage were criminals and did break the law. No question about it—it’s all on video IF you care to watch it. The Criminal-in-Chief pardoned them, ignoring the fact that they (and he) tried to overthrow the government! They should all be in prison, along with Trump.

    3. I watched it live on CSPAN as it was happening. I do remember seeing young men climbing the walls and thought, uh oh, you can get into trouble for that. (Never mind the videos of statues being pulled down, the spray paint, and the burning of the national church by leftist rioters.) Yep, I also remember the individual who moved the rope stanchions to allow for the followers behind him to all walk on into the halls of congress. He probably ended up in a Washington D.C. jail for that.

    4. Quetzalita: please name all the police officers that were killed by the “criminal Trumpers” that day. Be truthful. Answer: Not one. In fact, Capitol police shot and killed an Air Force veteran and was never charged. Consider doing some research before repeating what you heard.

  5. Be on board or stay out of the way fellow humans. We can each have our protests peacefully. Trump had his rallies all the time where “everybody came” on each other. Why can’t we have some where people come together? You can’t dictate how your siblings use their turn on the world stage, you did yours, let us do ours. Humility people. Nobody here hates America. Who fights for something they hate? America was created from royal oppression, let’s be real here people. There’s nothing more American than our freedom to protest whatever the hell we want in a peaceful and organized manner. Please let’s all be civil and remember our humanity on both sides of the isle this weekend. We must work together. Humans are humans we all just want life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Thank you for your attention to this matter…

    1. When you show up make sure you get paid. Billionaire donor George Soros is funding many of the organizations leading the “No Kings” protests, so far giving 3 million dollars. Other protest “partners” include 265 nonprofit organizations with total annual revenues of $2.9 billion. Whatever you do, don’t stand around all day for free. Don’t become a “useful fool and silly enthusiast” as they say in Russia. You should get at least $2 per hour, plus a free water bottle.

  6. Dave. Sometimes people do things without reward.. ever hear of volunteering? Check out your local shelter you can do things that help the community and not get paid as well! Love you fellow human, no matter your mental state! Good luck trying to get paid for attending the next parade or fireworks event that are funded by large donors as well. Sometimes people congregate just to be together for the same reason. You should come! The love is intoxicating.

  7. And today’s protesters, with self assured confidence in their cause, will sleep well tonight but Sunday Morning the Democratic elected Donald Trump will still be President.

  8. After sparking the J6 crimes, our dear leader continues to destroy democracy on a daily basis. It’s up to those who love America to raise their voices peacefully.

    1. If the visitors who took an unauthorized tour of Congress on Jan. 6 were the criminals, why then were members of Congress and staff who served on the Jan. 6 committee, plus the police officers who testified before that committee all pardoned by President Biden?

  9. Dave – I will conclude with this quote from Sam Kinison: “I’m just trying to help.”

    Are you?
Trump pardoned insurrectionists… Stop the pot stirring and let people be people bruh. Love you silly guy. Kisses.

    1. Ask yourself, if the rule you followed brought you to Todd Grove Park in Ukiah today, then of what use was the rule?
(Okay, I am misquoting Anton Chigurh here)
Anyway, what are you doing here? You are supposed to be standing around in the park right now! Your heart isn’t really into it?

  10. I’m here lover come find me.. I’m the good looking gentlemen that loves freedom. Can’t miss me. Physically I can be somewhere and digitally be everywhere. Crazy futuristic world we live in Dave. Where are you? Come bring that passion to the physical public world my friend. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful face my guy. Love you.

  11. Actually you should look for my ex-wife. She will be holding a sign that says “No Kings Ever”. I have a feeling you two would get along great.
Anyway, answer the question. If the rule you followed brought you to the protest today, then of what use was the rule? The rule followed was the one the media and the voters who lost the last election in 2024 marched to…”Trump is evil.” They still have not learned anything from it. The majority of voters disagree with your rule, and said so. Look around you. What has changed? Nada. (nothing)

  12. Your ex sounds like a very smart woman. She saw the writing on that wall. I’ll congratulate her freedom if I see her. The rule I followed was, stand up for what you believe is right. See something say something. If there’s action that you can take to help stop a loved one from losing health coverage and dying from it, then take the action. This affects me directly so to answer your question, what brought me here? The need to have my voice heard about harms that have come to my family, my community, and my country. I’m not so close minded sitting in my house that I can’t feel the need for empathy and support for the country. Again I appreciate your sentiment for the atrocious behavior befalling innocent Americans, although I don’t share the same sentiment. We can agree to disagree this is America. Don’t yuck people’s yum homie. That’s all I’m saying. You like mustard, cool. I like ketchup. You wanna twist panties about that, okay. But it seems frivolous and deconstructive to me. To each their own tho. Love you honey bug.

  13. Liberal pedo commies?
Interesting take. Last time I checked communist countries have a dictator. Which is exactly what he is trying to achieve as well being a conservative who is all over the pdfiles.
