A juvenile suspected of vandalizing city property in Fort Bragg has been arrested and his alleged accomplice is still outstanding, police said Monday.

On Thursday just before midnight, someone reported a suspicious person wearing all black who was possibly vandalizing a utility box with graffiti at the intersection of North Main and East Laurel streets. Officers arrived and allegedly found fresh-drawn graffiti and two people running from the area.

One juvenile was detained after a chase and he allegedly had evidence on him linking him to the graffiti. He was arrested, cited, and released to a parent, police said.

The second suspect managed to get away, and investigators are attempting to identify him.

Police are looking for any surveillance or other digital evidence that may assist their case and have created a community request portal at Evidence Request from Fort Bragg Police Dept. – CA.

Officers are looking for footage of two people wearing all black, with hooded sweatshirts and possibly ski masks.
