FORT BRAGG, CA., 10/22/25 — A woman was rescued Monday from two men who forced her into a vehicle and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint, Fort Bragg police said.
Officers were told the pair compelled the woman to get into a white sedan in the 700 block of North Main Street about 11:04 p.m., police said Tuesday.
Officers were advised to be on the lookout for the vehicle and began canvassing the area, police said. Within 9 minutes of the initial alert, officers located the vehicle parked behind the Fort Bragg Fire Department with the suspects and the victim inside.
Jose Plascencia, 25, and Douglas Hance, 45, both from Fort Bragg, were accused of kidnapping, false imprisonment, conspiracy to commit a crime and probation violation, police said.
The victim was rescued and taken to a safe location.
