MENDOCINO CO., 9/15/25 – Mendocino County has launched a new program to support small businesses.
The Microenterprise Technical Assistance Program provides eligible small businesses and entrepreneurs with free support regarding permits, licensing, government regulations and other operational matters.
Managed by the county’s Economic Development Division, the program seeks to help small businesses remain competitive, while encouraging entrepreneurs to pursue their business dreams, the county said.
The program is funded through the federally funded Community Development Block Grant Program, which funds community development activities benefiting low- to moderate-income residents.
Local microenterprises and entrepreneurs can contact the Economic Development Division at (707) 463-4441 or econdev@mendocinocounty.gov for more information.

I’m opening a new gallery in Fort Bragg in November. I had a Gallery in Mendocino for 12 years from 06 to 18 but this is different and I could use some help.
Be very careful and keep an eye on the funding their getting cuz there is some very questionable people with very sticky fingers. Look what they did with the funding for the homeless. A lot of homeless still on the streets because there’s no more monies to help them. They spent it on fixing the streets in Ukiah. And our wonderfully corrupt police dept .Now they chase down the homeless and throw them in jail along with a 1700 ticket. Plus have our people of the town sneak around snapping pics and now naming them right on facebook.plus the lies they say about them. How would they like someone doing that to them. I could not for any reason do that to someone that is already at their lowest. And plus I like a clear and clean conscience when I speak to someone. It’s sad that our town has become so corrupt and so terrifying. That is the truth. Shameless people. I wish our town was what it once was..God forgive them for their hate.
