More than 300 people observed 11 species of sea star up and down the California coastline in December.
A Wednesday night presentation by area stranding coordinators will give insight into the creatures found on Mendocino County beaches this year.
A Solstice Sea Star Search will run from Dec. 20-23, a well-timed followup to this “major win.”
