  1. Kate, you forgot to mention how long of a ‘grace period’ the stores get before they have to pay $100/day or buy back the CRV containers. The Pudding Cr buy back center was closed July 2022 if not before. I’d be curious to know what CalRecycle is doing with all the CRV funds collected, besides paying high salaries to managers. I support the mobile buyback program and hope that it is successful.

This report covers from Jan 2022 thru June 2022. The report indicates that for All Recyclables sales were estimated to be $12,819,282,916 and that Recycled were $9,641,365,042, giving a 75% recycle rate.
    That’s the latest report I could find online. Their actual Surplus values are hard to pin down. Wondering if Ukiah retailers are paying the mandated fines now that the nearest Recycling Center is in Willits.
