  1. What “broke” local journalism is the presstitutes themselves. Corporate ownership certainly doesn’t help, but most presstitutes have no problem lying professionally, offering opinion as “fact.” Indeed, they enjoy doing it.

    In response to that, millions of us won’t give local “journalism” a dime.

    If you want to have real local journalism, TELL THE TRUTH, all the time. The money will come in on its own.

    As for mandatory funding of local “journalism,” F that. Give us a product of value, and we’ll pay for it. And always remember, with grants, who pays the Piper calls the tune. So expect more of the same professional lying.
